Hey there! I’m the flour-dusted, cinnamon-roll-obsessed baker behind Fredericksburg Bakes—a little homegrown bakery serving up cookies, scones, and sweet rolls that taste like a warm hug (the good kind, not the awkward family reunion kind).
This whole thing started during the pandemic when I made a batch of cinnamon rolls to lift the mood. One bite, and something clicked. Suddenly I was baking non-stop, filling the house with the smell of butter and joy.
I’m a proud mom of two grown kids, happily married for 35 years, and I’ve called Fredericksburg home for over two decades. When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll usually find me making art, taking photos, or hanging out with my dogs—who are excellent company and terrible at helping clean up flour.
Fredericksburg Bakes is my happy place—a blend of creativity, comfort, and a little sweet rebellion against store-bought everything. Every treat I make is homemade with love, laughter, and maybe a little 80s music playing in the background.
