1. How do I order?
You can pre-order weekly by Wednesday and pickup Friday’s 9am -6pm or Saturday morning 9am-12pm. Visit the Order FXBG BAKES page of the website. Once you place your pre-order you will receive a follow up email with an invoice and further instructions on how to pickup and make the payment for your order. All orders are subject to Virginia sales tax and 4% service charge and is added to your order invoice. Payments FXBG BAKES accepts are cash, Apple Pay, Google Pay and all major debit/credit cards.
2. Why can’t I pay on the website?
Virginia has restrictions on where homemade products can be sold. Because Fredericksburg Bakes LLC is a cottage home bakery our goods may only be sold in person, online sales are prohibited. See: How do I order for more details.
3. What do you sell?
FXBG BAKES currently sells cookies and cinnamon rolls. Check out the menu to see what is currently available.
4. Do you deliver?
We do not deliver currently.
5. Do you take large or custom orders?
Large orders need a two-week lead time to be sure FXBG BAKES can fit the order into our bake days.Each type cookie ordered must be ordered in increments of a dozen (12). A 50% deposit is needed for large orders. Visit our Special Occasion Order page, call 826-240-1504 or email fxbgbakes@gmail.com.
6. Where do I pick up my order?
Orders are available for pick up Friday’s 9 am - 6pm and Saturday mornings 9am-12pm. Pick up address will be given when your order confirmation email is sent.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Should you need to cancel your order you can call 826-240-1504 or email fxbgbakes@gmail.com 48 hours before pickup and your payment will be refunded. Should you not be satisfied with your order FXBG BAKES will do what it can to make things right.
8. Do you have a storefront?
No, currently you will need to pre-order and then pickup your order on Friday’s 9 am - 6pm or Saturday morning 9am - 12 pm.
9. When and where are the cookies baked?
All baked goods are baked and packaged in Fredericksburg Bakes LLC home kitchen the day of pick-up.
10. What is the best way to eat and store the cookies?
Cookies are best day of but will store on the counter in an airtight container for 3 to 4 days. Refrigerate cookies for up to 7 days. And most cookies can be frozen for up to 2 months. When ready to eat bring them to room temperature. Pro tip: use your microwave to warm the cookies for 5-10 seconds for gooey goodness.
11. What is your allergy policy?
Fredericksburg Bakes LLC cookies and other baked goods are made in a home kitchen, and may have trace amounts of tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, wheat, soy, and eggs. We are not allergen free nor are we gluten free.
12. What is a home cottage business?
Fredericksburg Bakes LLC is a Home Cottage Business which means that the cookies are made in a home kitchen that has not been subject to inspection.
